Unlike general-purpose AI systems, Ask Gabriel is configured to support research, brainstorming, and discovery while preventing the generation of essays, articles, and academic papers for academic submission.Literary Oscilloscope(tm) — The second project, the Literary Oscilloscope™, applies the metaphor of the technical oscilloscope to literary analysis. Drawing upon concepts from cybernetics and signal theory, it visualizes patterns of silence, spectrality, memory, revelation, and narrative impedance as interpretive signals within a text. Connecting Joyce Enthusiasts: The Heart of the West Coast Joyce Project

Independent Scholar | PhD Candidate, University of GlasgowCheryl A. Solis is an independent scholar and PhD candidate in English Literature at the University of Glasgow. She holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Stanford University and specializes in James Joyce, Irish modernism, narrative theory, and spectrality. In 2024, Cheryl presented research at the XXIX International James Joyce Symposium. She chaired the Medieval Joyce panel and delivered a paper on marginal figures in Ulysses. Her current research areas include narrative silence, hauntology, and structure in the works of James Joyce and Seamus Deane. Honorary Professor of English Emeritus, Stanford University President Emeritus, Emory UniversityDr. William M. Chace is an internationally respected scholar of James Joyce and modern literature, with research and writing that have also explored the works of W. B. Yeats, T. S. Eliot, Ezra Pound, and Lionel Trilling. During a distinguished academic career spanning more than five decades, he taught English literature at Stanford University. At Stanford, he served as Associate Dean of Humanities and Sciences (1981–1985) and Vice Provost for Academic Planning and Development (1985–1988) before becoming President of Wesleyan University (1988–1994) and President of Emory University (1994–2003). Following his presidency, he returned to teaching and writing, offering acclaimed courses on Joyce, Irish literature, modernism, and critical thinking. He is the author and editor of numerous books and essays on literature and higher education, including The Political Identities of Ezra Pound and T. S. Eliot, Lionel Trilling: Criticism and Politics, and One Hundred Semesters: My Adventures as Student, Professor, and University President. He continues to write and lecture on literature, higher education, and the enduring importance of the humanities.

The Saltee Islands are a pair of small islands lying 5 kilometres off the southern coast of County Wexford in Ireland. The two islands are Great Saltee (89 hectares) and Little Saltee (37 hectares). Both have been privately owned by the Neale family since 1943.
